Lovely lavender scent. Used it on my kids for the first time and their hair was SO soft - I’ve never experienced that in other natural shampoos. Also Canadian brand + all natural= winner for me.

It’s so hard to find quality yet affordable products made in your own country by people who clearly care about you.
I tried out a bunch of stuff and got a hand-written note in my package and a free tote; I know other companies do this too but the note itself was genuine and I didn’t feel like I she was just trying to get me to buy more stuff from her ❤️
I have been religiously using using Function of Beauty and never use other shampoos because I’m fussy about maintaining my thick, curly hair. But I wanted to give this stuff a try because I noticed the ingredients were legitimately all natural you didn’t suffer for that with the price.
First of all the shampoo and conditioner smells like real lavender it’s so nice.
You can tell it’s natural in the feel of the shampoo; it doesn’t have that weird thickness to it, I can’t really explain.
My hair was REAL dirty so I had to give it two goes which is normal but I found it wasn’t as sudsy at first but it was so soothing on my scalp and my hair didn’t feel dry after.

Smells so nice. Doesn’t lather much. Cleans my hair nicely. I have less tangles in my hair after using the shampoo and conditioner. It’s nice knowing that you’re not using chemicals in your hair. Like the metal refillable bottles. Very pleased with my experience with Elva’s.

I absolutely LOVE this shampoo! I have tried numerous salon/drug store shampoos, but they always made my scalp itchy and greasy the next day. I researched natural shampoo and came across this website, and thought I would give it a try. I am so glad I did!! I can now go almost a week without having to wash my hair. Interestingly enough, and with a pleasant surprise, this Lavender shampoo in its pure magic, has shown itself to eliminate the brassiness that often comes with greying/white hair colour. No more need to buy those purple shampoos that hardly have an impact beyond making the hair slightly grey/blueish. Well done Elva's!

Mixed feelings. My hair and scalp seem better. I can go 1-2 longer in between shampooings. However, this shampoo is a ton of work and costly. I used about half a bottle for 2 washes because I needed tons to get my entire head covered and because I need two shampooings to feel that my hair got cleaned properly. Normally one will do the job. You have to rinse extremely thoroughly for a prolonged time!!! The first time, I had to rinse my hair again the next morning after going to bed with wet hair because it was still full of soap. Never happened to me before.

Since I have started using this shampoo I have only had to wash my hair every four days. I have white hair and I no longer have to use purple shampoo to keep it from getting a yellow tone.

So happy to have found a sulfate free shampoo that doesn’t leave a greasy residue on my hair. For those of you with hard water this is the bomb! The lavender scent is scrumptious. I can go four days between washings. Love love love this.
