I originally got this for camping because a lot of places we camp the graywater can be dumped on the ground so I needed something biodegradable.

Even though this detergent and its shipping is quite expensive, I feel so good about not buying another jumbo plastic laundry detergent. So far I have done 7 washes I use 30mls for large loads and the clothes are clean with a hint of the lavender scent. Im seeing how far this detergent really goes. So far so good.

Smells delicious and cleans well. Way less plastic than most liquid laundry detergent but there is a plastic bag within the cardboard box the refill comes in, so not 100% plastic free. Still, one of the best sustainable liquid laundry detergents I’ve found.

I usually don't like scent of lavender. I don't know why, but I really like this product. I didn't buy a glass bottle in my first order. It wasn't easy to use without the bottle because I need to bring it to laundry room (I live at an apartment). Now, I am truly happy and don't make mess anymore.
It seems like expensive, BUT it doesn't. I just need 1 or 2 pushes for a medium laundry machine, so use less than other detergents. Save money and kind to our earth !

I love the smell of the soap prior to washing, but I tried changing the amount of soap and clothes in each wash and am not too content with the purchase. As much as I want to love this detergent, I am an athlete and it does not fully remove the foul odor of my workout clothes. I wish it was more potent and effective.

I only put a little in the wash and it got a lot of the blood out of the sheets which surprised me. I add more than it says so it smells good after the wash, otherwise it just smells like nothing. The smells is great! And I know I'll end up trying the other cleaning products.

So far I really like this detergent...love the smell! I have only used on four loads of laundry but so far so good! I have tried many "natural" detergents and they just did not get smells out of clothes, but on the loads I have done so far, this one has. We shall see how it does when I have a load of my husband's really dirty work clothes. I just wish shipping to the US was not so expensive but I get it. Time will tell if this ends up being my go to "natural" detergent!

I just wanted to say I finally got around to using this detergent.. I have chemical sensitivities to smell as and lavender is NOT my favourite scent .. that being said I was totally blown away by how much I enjoyed this scented purchase .. it’s very light and not heavily scented and it leaves the lightest clean smell to dirty clothes .. of course it does a great job cleaning the clothes as well .. I would totally purchase this product again esp if u have a stinky teenager in the houseand I highly recommend giving it a try if you are on the fence about scent

The only thing I would change is for the lavender scent to be stronger after drying, but I know with natural products that's much harder to get. Aside from that, I love it!

I love this. My former detergent advertises itself as a low suds detergent. It would take me a minimum of 10 rinses to get out all the detergent and suds. If I didn’t, the clothes and towels would become stiff. At first I thought it was my washer and had a technician check it and he said there was nothing wrong with my washer and I needed to use less detergent (I was using the prescribed amount). But even using a fourth of the prescribed amount it would take 10 rinses for the towels. (I have hard water). My clothes come out much softer with much fewer rinses.

I have tried many many cleaning products that costs ridiculous sums of money. I am using the laundry wash since I got it and the bottle is still 1/2. The laundry smells fresh and clean. I have not use dryer sheets in months, the dryer balls works wonders not static. The daily cleaner works on my granite countertops, the glass shower (remove hard water stains). The only con is you have to remove the washer dispenser then add the laundry wash once the bottle is 1/2 and a plug is formed at the tip of the pump.
The products are amazing and worked as advertised. I am in the process of purchasing the refills.

Love the subtle lavender scent! Amazing that laundry can get so clean with so little soap! The squeeze bottle is easy to use and just takes a little squirt. At first I measured with a teaspoon but now I know how much a teaspoon is. Would highly recommend it.

I really like this detergent! The fragrance is very natural and not overpowering when clothes are dry. It is working well in my front load machine. I just ordered my 2nd refillable box. I like that I'm not saddled with huge plastic jugs of conventional detergent. Elva's laundry wash has a very pleasant, organic scent, free from the harsh perfumes that, in my opinion, ruin clothes. Everything comes out soft, clean and natural-smelling. I also love that I feel safe using it for handwashing my alpaca sweaters.

I use this a lot. I don't find a smell on my clothes after washing them (not even lavender). Since I have hard water I use the maximum amount on the label (4 pumps) and often it's a bigger load. I will pump it into a cup and dilute it with cold water then pour that on my clothes. Otherwise, the detergent will not distribute on to the whole load. I'm not sure if I will buy this again because of price.

I am in the process of switching to zero-waste and eco-friendly products throughout the house. What I particularly like with the Lovely laundry detergent is that it is so gentle on clothes. It has quickly become my favourite for my dark loads and fragile dark loads. I have also used it on all other types of loads (sheets, towels, whites, bright colours), and it works equally well. The fact that it is so concentrated means much smaller containers than traditional liquid laundry detergents, and less to carry around. I feel very virtuous using it.

Most amazing laundry soup I’ve ever used
I was a bit skeptic am at first because it required so little for a load, but after the load was done the clothes smelled AMAZING. I tossed them in the dryer with the wool balls and when my clothes were done they didn’t have that sticky silky feeling that they usually do from the residue that the detergent and fabric softener leave behind.

Yes! Finally a laundry detergent that smells amazing, is natural and kind to my allergy-prone skin. We have small kids and dogs and do a lot of laundry, and this really cleans and smells great. A small cap will work in most scenarios. The lavender essence in particular is so nice to smell on fresh pillow cases and bedsheets! Highly recommended!
